Adapun Tingkatan Pada Domain :
1. Top Level Domain
Top Level Domain Dibagi lagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu :
a. Generic Domain
- COM : untuk komersial
- NET : untuk penyedia jaringan internet
- ORG : Untuk organisasi
- EDU : untuk lembaga pendidikan
- GOV : untuk pemerintahan USA
- INT : untuk organisasi internasional
- MIL : untuk kemiliteran USA
b. Country Domain
- ID : untuk Indonesia
- SG : untuk Singapura
- CA : untuk Canada
2. Second Level Domain
Untuk Second Level Domain setiap negara ,biasanya diserahkan pada kebijakan pengelola domain di negara masing-masing.

3. Third Level Domain
Penamaan pada third level domain diserahkan pada pengelola jaringan masing-masing.
